Tammy S. Dye

DALTON – Tammy S. Dye, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2024.

Born on November 29, 1965 in Fairmont, WV, she was a resident of Dalton since 1985, previously of WV.  Tammy had previously been a nurse’s aide and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved to play games, both board and on her phone, and liked to play along with those on television.

Preceded in death by her father, Wayne Efaw; son, Cooper Dye; sister, Mary Jane Efaw, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith; sons, Charles (Ashley) Efaw of Mannington, WV, Dwayne Efaw of Millersburg, OH, Shannon “Boo” Dye of Dalton; step-son, Chad Dye of Shreve; ten grandchildren; mother, Mary Efaw (nee Eddy) and sister, Beverly “Bev” Efaw both of Mannington, WV; other family and friends.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH, 44618 and then process to Fredericksburg East Cemetery for a graveside committal service with Pastor Dan Hostetler, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
