DALTON – Lawrence M. Hann, age 92, passed away on March 26, 2024.
Born on July 12, 1931 in Canal Fulton, OH to the late George G. and Burdella (Rhodes) Hann, he was a lifelong resident of Dalton. Founder and owner of Hann Heritage Homes for many years, he was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean War, and was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Massillon. His true passion was building quality homes for his clients with other enjoyments being those of watching sports and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George (Belvia) Hann; sisters, Coyla Hann, Susan Hann, Rita Hann, Evelyn (Dan) Kelarney. Lawrence is survived by his beloved wife, with whom he would have shared 70 years of marriage with on April 3, 2024, Wanda; sons, Larry (Nancy) Hann, Lanny Hann all of Dalton; grandchildren, Kathryn (Kevin) Miller, Kristen Hann, Kirby (Jay) Clutter, Kelly (Brandon) Warner, Kelsey (Brock) Gerber; great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jake, Collins, Rowan, Quinn, Briggs, Anderson, Jack; sister, Esther Hann of Massillon, other family and friends.
