Francis L. McGonigal

BARBERTON – Francis L. McGonigal, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2024.

Born on October 4, 1951 in Buckhannon, WV to the late Oscar and Anna (Cockerill) Jackson, she was a resident of Barberton, previously of North Fort Myers, FL and Doylestown.  Retiring after many years of service in the office of Dr. Freeland Oliverio, she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Francis was a member of Ravenna Chapter #46, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dennis; children, Janet (Eric) Malo of Barberton, Dennis (Dawn) McGonigal of New Franklin, Karen (Philip) Pamer of Doylestown; grandchildren, Samantha (Anthony) Britton, Eric Malo, Dennis (Kristin) McGonigal, Alexander (Destiny) McGonigal, Zachary (Kelsie) Pamer, Tyler Pamer; great grandchildren, Liydea, Oliver, Makenna, Eliott, Kaiser-Anne, Rory, Corinne, Blaire, Bentley, Colby; brothers, James, William, Ira, Charles; sisters, Lola Meeks, Carolyn McGonigal, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. followed by an Eastern Star Service at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
